The Phoenix reimagines an abandoned coal mine in Chandrapur as a sustainable and experiential mine resort, addressing ecological challenges. Leveraging a 2 SqKm site area near the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, the project integrates four zones: Resort, Restoration, Research, and Experiential. Emphasizing ecotourism, wildlife exploration, and cultural experiences, it aims for sustainable development and community engagement. Through renewable energy and interdisciplinary collaboration, the resort becomes a model for adaptive reuse, fostering environmental restoration and education on mining practices.
